CONSIGNOR TIPS:
SUGGESTIONS AND REMINDERS AND GUIDELINES:

1. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE A NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST WITHIN THE LAST SIX MONTHS OF THE SALE DATE.    THERE IS NO ONSITE VET TO TEST HORSES, SO PLEASE HAVE YOUR HORSE TESTED ACCORDINGLY!  

2.   THE TRANSFER THAT ACCOMPANIES THE HORSE MUST BE SIGNED BY THE  CURRENT LISTED OWNER ON HORSE'S PAPERS.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN SELLING YOUR HORSE AS THE REGISTRATION ASSOCIATIONS REQUIRE ALL THIS INFORMATION!   ALSO INCLUDE ALL LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS.

3.  YOUR HORSE SELLS BETTER IF IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION.  PLEASE REMEMBER  TO FEED UP YOUR HORSES AND HAVE THE HORSE PREPPED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE.  HAVE YOUR HORSE'S HAIR COAT AS SHINY AND AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE.     REMEMBER TO CLIP YOUR HORSE'S HEAD -EARS, MUZZLE AND BRIDLE PATH, FETLOCKS 

4.   HORSES SELL BETTER IF THEY ARE BROKE TO RIDE - PLEASE RIDE THE HORSE IN THE SALE RING AS THIS WILL IMPROVE YOUR HORSES CHANCES OF SELLING!  PLEASE DEMONSTRATE THEM IN THE RING UNDER SADDLE - RIDERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR HIRE IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO RIDE YOUR OWN HORSE THROUGH THE SALE. 

5.  VIDEOS MAY BE PLAYED WHILE YOUR HORSE SELLS. PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS SET TO PLAY AT THE RIGHT STARTING POINT BEFORE YOU BRING THE TAPE FOR THE SALE.

6.  USE CLEAN TACK AND APPROPRIATE TRAINING EQUIPMENT.  WHEN DEMONSTRATING THE HORSE IN THE SALE RING. 

7.  ANNOUNCE ALL PROGRAMS (NRBC, NRHA SIRE AND DAM PROGRAM, AQHA INCENTIVE FUND, APHA BREEDERS TRUST, FUTURITIES) OTHER PROGRAMS AND AWARDS,  ITS SHOW RECORD, etc.  

8.  NOTICE TO SELLERS - OUR CUSTOMERS WANT TO BE ABLE TO REGISTER THE FOALS THEY PURCHASE. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL PAPERWORK IS INCLUDED - ALL MARES IN FOAL SHOULD HAVE A BREEDER'S CERTIFICATE OR REGISTRATION PAPERS AVAILABLE. 

9.  WE ACT AS AGENTS ONLY.  THERE IS NO GUARANTEE ON ANIMALS.   WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IN CASE OF ACCIDENTS, SICKNESS, OR DEATH.  NO SETTLEMENTS MADE ON GUARANTEED COMMISION STOCK-GUARANTEES MADE ARE BETWEEN THE BUYER AND SELLER.

DON'T MISS OUT ON SOME FABULOUS HORSES IN OUR SPECIAL SATURDAY CATALOG SALES!   CROWLEYS will be holding 2 Saturday sales per month and NO THURSDAY SALES.  They will be held on the 1st Sat (Catalogued sale) Registered or Grade. and the 3rd Sat.  (Uncatalogued)  starting with tack @10AM. Due to popular demand, the Crowleys will personally go west to buy at least 30 head of fresh stock each sale so you will get the best horses available.   We will also be open for private sales year round.

Other information...
Consignors paid day of sale.  If horse is sold as sound, buyers have 72 hours to have horse vet checked on premises only.   Once the horse leaves the property it is assumed by the buyer horse is as is.   No Returns.   Horses may be run through the sale or traded into a new horse only. 

If a seller needs a rider, riders are available for $20.00 fee to ride through the ring, this must be paid to rider in cash, and is not taken from sale proceeds.   All horses to be ridden MUST be ridable and not BRONCS.   It will be at rider's discretion to not ride an unridable horse.

  All horses are charged Yardage of $3.00 sale day.   If a horse comes  in  before sale day  - the first week is $10.00 per day- 2nd week is $15.00 per day and so on.  

Any sale of horses on property MUST be run through the office.    If you are caught selling a horse on property that is not run through the office you will have your selling and buying priviledges revoked.

Any horse that is scratched from the sale must be ok'ed by the owner of Crowley's to be pulled from the sale.




Crowley's will not accept non-ambulatory animals for the sale.
