Hi Alice,
I’m sending you some pictures of Elgin so you can see how great our summer was. I bought him from you in May and we did our first show just weeks after and we got a second and a first place. In July we did our first USDF show, It was a three day show and I got my best score ever 69.565.This January, when I attended the end of the year banquet for Maine Dressage Society, was I ever surprised to find out that we where adult armature training level champions.  You told me he was special, I guess you where right. I just love him, he is my partner, even if he didn’t get the champion ribbon he would be my best man. Keep selling those dressage horses! Hope you like the pictures.
Thanks
Pat Kellner

Vicky Avery has been buying horses at
Crowley’s for nearly 25 years now.  She and
Jessica attended the June 3rd Auction
where they purchased a gray mare for $75.
Their vet estimates her to be about 30
years old and healthy.  Vicky and Jessica
are both very happy with her and have named
her Alice.  They report that Alice has a
beautiful disposition is an easy keeper,
a very nice horse.

This is a horse that Dennis bought at the
May 20 Auction for $50.  We at Crowley’s
are very pleased that she has found a loving
home with our long time customers the Avery’s.
Vicky will be sending us some updated photos
soon.

Hi, My name is Hailey Brown and I purchased a funny looking little colt from Crowleys in Jan of 09. He was in a stall with his half sister Whisper. I made an offer to The Crowleys and they were happy to accept it if I would take both...so I did:o) One of my best friends has Whisper (the fillie) and I cherish the little colt who's name was Hancock (now named Dunkin). I believe that the Crowleys had thier mother as well "Hancocks Freckles" whom I would love to find but still havent. Anyway....Dunkin is an absolute joy and has come so far! He just turned 4 in July and has grown like a weed. I wont bother sending before pics but I will send a recent pic of my handsome little AQHA whom has himself a home for the rest of his life. I have come across alot of horses, no of them have compared to this little guy!! I want to thanks Dennis and Alice for taking my offer on my forever best equine friend!! Dunkin thanks you too.

Heidi writes to say she has been very happy with
the two horses and the mini she bought from us.
Pokey, the black gaited pony, she bought in
September 2009 has been renamed Star by her
granddaughter.  Ella, whom she bought in 2004,
was the first horse she had after 20 years off from
riding.  Both are doing very well.  Ella is now
enjoying retirement.

Heidi,
We here at Crowley's are all so pleased
to see Ella & Star enjoying their home.
Your pictures and the update were
thanks enough in themselves.  You are
very welcome.
Hi Alice & Dennis,
You may remember we purchased a couple of horses October 2009. A gray mare called Twinkle and a chestnut gelding called L7. As you know the mare didn't work out for our Daughter and you were kind enough to swap her out for a wonderful bay mare Wink an Wish(Belle). Our 13 yr old Daughter has done wonderfully with this mare! It's her first year in 4-H and she has placed well all season, even taking first in trail last weekend and reserve champion!  As for L7 ( now known as Cash) our 21 yr old Daughter decided to show him last weekend and he brought home second in his trail class...not bad for an old hack line horse! Best of all they have become part of the family and will have forever homes with us. I have included some recent photos and I think you will be pleased with how well they look.
Thank you for all your help.

Team Shamrock take home the Blue Ribbons!

Pictured here are Beth, Katie and Kyle with
their horses Cat, Paddy and Remi.  Shown
here after winning the Novice Team Penning
event.  With one more show left in the season
they are on the hunt for a 1st Place Novice
Team for Central Maine Team Penning.  Beth
and Cat have also placed 1st for the season in
a ranch sorting division (Pro/nov) with Janette
Ross for the season.  They have also been on
two "fastest time of the day" teams this season.

We are very happy to see our friends doing so
well and having so much fun.  We are also
happy to say that all three of these horses
were purchased here at Crowley's.  Keep up
the good work!
Hi Alice,

After looking for nearly 2 years for the perfect horse through private sellers I decided to try Crowley's.  Back in September of 2009 I purchased one of your hackline horses named Cash. He was the chestnut gelding who was fully tacked and standing loose in the isle near his favorite mare friend. Others were there looking to buy but he was passed up for having knotches cut out of his ears and a cracked front hoof. Those things didn't bother me, I saw a good boy in front of me.

He has safely carried me on trail rides, lets me enjoy bareback rides, is gentle around children and has been a wonderful companion to my other gelding. He will forever have a home with us and want to thank you for helping us find such a wonderful horse. We love him dearly.

Sincerely,
Linda Bates
Dear Dennis,

I bought Daniel a 4 year old gelding that is about 14 hands. He is the quiet family horse that I always wanted for myself and my family. I just wanted to thank you and Tony for helping me find the perfect horse. He is exactly what I was looking for and is working out incredibly well. He is so quiet and sound and everyone at the barn just loves him. Thank you again for taking the time to help me find the perfect horse for me.

Sincerely,

Kim Avery
Dennis and Alice,

I just wanted to update you on Zippin Pizzazz, the yearling AQHA gelding we purchased last fall. He is doing wonderfully! "Zippy" has an amazing personality and has been so easy to work with despite his young age. Now that he has shed out and put on some weight, he looks every bit as handsome as you described him to be. Thank you for everything, we adore this little guy!
